| | My First Carving..... Thanks to Gene for the great video. It sure helps watching someone do something like this. I managed to draw blood in the first 5 minutes... lol. Then I put on the glove  Anyway, here it is in the nude. It ain't perfect but I am happy with it being my first time out.

| | Re: My First Carving..... Thanks guys, it was fun and yes Bob got the mess all cleaned up and sitting here smiling waiting for her to get home. Here is a pic of the stained boot! When I get my indoor area in the basement set up for carving and wood burning this little boot will be on my bench and will have my painting toothpicks in it. And now I have an avatar
