Default My bride's carvings

I have been teaching my wife to carve and she is getting pretty darn good if I do say so myself, I am quite proud of her, here are her first three carvings
The first is her first carving and not a very good photo the Gene's man in the moon Santa ornament in basswood
The second is the Santa ornie in basswood
and the third is a little in the round Santa 3" high in basswood

Seems like you're really been on a teaching kick recently, keep up the good work.

She did a nice job! If you can get her hooked, you will be able to carve and buy tools guilt free.

I cannot recall ever seeing carving chisels with PINK handles, Although a $3.95 can of Krylon would allow for very quick distinction between "yours" and "hers"....

Looks awesome....keep her happy, she's a keeper....Mine makes me carve in the cold....

Herb, It is obvious she is enjoying what she is doing, and you are doing a good job of teaching. If you aren't careful though you will notice that there is a lot of housework that isn't getting done.
Next find a rendezvous to go to, and you will both meet a lot of carvers haveing a great time.

Keep it up, Tom

I think we have a new carver among us, I think she needs her own Avatar! I love it when the hubby calls his wife 'the little bride' means to me a happy marriage. Keep those carvings coming!
