Default Materials Question.

Im looking for 3 pieces of cedar maybe 12''*11''*3/4"

Many local lumber supply stores are unwilling to place an order for one plank or several small boards

Is there any online stores selling small quantities of different woods?

Thanks

Exactly what kind of cedar? Wesrwen, Southern or Spanish. You might give Woodcraft a try online. Only one I can think of right now.

check your local building supply center.... no not home depot or lowes... but if you have a building supply store localy they may carry cedar siding and trim. ACE hardware can also be checked we have one here which has a building supply center which carrys it. we have two here in hickory however the cedar is rought cut... good luck... AND brent is right chose which type you want as it will vary in price

unless i am mistaken, you should be able to buy a 1x12-8' or 6' cedar board and have it cut into 12" pieces. normally (in my area) most lumber yards stock s1s2e cedar so your 1x12 will be approx 7/8" thick x 11 1/4" wide. you may have to buy all 6 or 8 feet but i would guess that may be cheaper than having some shipped in.
