Over on the left side of your screen, under Magazine, is Article Archives and Article Index. Click on either (or both) of these, put the keyword angel into the search block and you'll find that several editions of the magazine have patterns for angels. Or, over on the right side of the screen, click on New Carving Books, and then do a search for angel and you'll find quite a few books of carving patterns/how-to instructions for carving angels.

I carved these two angel's last year for ornament gifts, the reference pictures were found in the Scroll Saw forum (link on left side of this page under "Testimonials"), I never could find the original designer but many members used this design.

The first picture in mine and the others are the reference pictures.

Lora Irish has Angel patterns on her site and on her CD too. I do believe one of her packages is just ornaments to carve.

Woodcarving Patterns, Classic Carving Patterns Online, Wood Carving Designs & Patterns Online

This should take you right to the pattern package site and under Holiday Themes are Angels and other things to carve for gifts.

Good thinking to start those projects now.. I should be doing the same thing. LOL

Marcia.

How about Cipa's Tree Top Angel? She has a star in her hand.
