Thumbs up What a list....

I know some of the old timers know about this site, but if you're new woodcarving and want a pretty concise list of vendors to browse through, try this site.
The Carver's Companion Vendor File
It kept me busy for hours and is a good source for ideas, tools, patterns, and PDF downloadable catalogs. Check it out.

Yep - the Carver's Companion is another great site alright. They have a whole bunch of things to go through. I have also been part of their Santa Exchange program which is fun to do.

I have been a member there for 12 years, and have loved the different carving exchanges offered. I am doing 2 different ones now, waiting on a 3rd to start. (I am retired). They have quite a library and a good on line magazine style. no forum or anything like here, but have good articles and all past issues on line from the first one to now. Great for new and seasoned carvers to exchange carvings all over the country and sometimes the world.

Hey Tim, thanks for the reminder. That is a good site, the ezine magazine has lots of good information.

Tim,

That is really cool!! I've looked at a few such "resource lists" and found them quite helpful, but this one apears to be much more comprehensive than others. This'll keep me surfin' for a goodly spell! Thanks for posting!

Gotta go wax my board
