Hi, my name is mickey. what I'm looking for is how to carve tree's and landscaping, house, row boats, fence's, and etc. I know it sound's like alot. but, if someone could help with one or two things it would be helpful. thank you. mickey |

I presume that you want to carve in relief? If so, there are several books on relief carving that can help. I'd look on Amazon.com and search under that subject. I'm afraid that's about all I can do for you as I'm not much at relief myself. Good luck, Dan |

look at my photos in the member gallery--if this is what you are referring to, its relief carving-- very poplular and i think easy to do-- depending on what part of the country you are in-- there is someone who offers classes in relief carving. john engler is my instructor and travels most of the central US from minnesota to texas and lives in springfield mo-- check his website. john paints with water colors and some leave them semi natural with stain or only a matte-satin finish.
