Thanks for the nice comments. My brother and his wife built a new home in Florida and when they visted us here in WV and seen that spirit I just finished his wife just had to have it. She put it in her kitchen and placed a few brass hooks on the bottom to hold there keys. They have parkay floors and knotty pine walls so it looks great there, Lol. Mike

Thanks again guys! Your makeing me want to go carve more, Lol. Wish I could find another chunk of Walnut like that .
The picture was posted on the Picture Trail site when I first joined you all a couple of weeks ago. Trying to get a bunch of wood spirit staffs carved for a spring craft show here in WV in the spring . I don't like to use power carvers so it takes me a while to turn them out.Sometimes I like to carve Characters on the staffs instead of the spirits but the spirits will always be my favorit, Thanks again, Mike
