Default Just to say Hi.

LeeRoy here.
Just wanted to say Hi.
I am a complete beginner, having done no carving at all.
In looking around I think that the place for me to start will be in the Q and E (5 min) area, so if people would keep posting things in that area I would be grateful.

LeeRoy

Welcome LeeRoy, you will find a wealth of information and help here. You might like flat plane carving as well. Take a look at Gene Messer's tutorials on youtube under the name of whittler0507. He also has a blog. Here's the link. Another good blog to follow is Tom H and Thomp's for beginners. Here's the link for it.

They are all regulars here and are eager to help and mentor you along your way.

The most important thing is to have fun and be safe.

Ed
