Talking jocko

Hi, from Portage la Prairie Manitoba. I am new member and a bit slow,until i learn the ropes. Have been carving for 50 yrs,but suffered an illness and am stating up all over.

i notice in an old page a member asking for eye cutting tools. Well don't waste you money. Go to you local crafts shop and purchase Copper tubing as uised in Planes cut 2" long all diff diameters, ream one end with a tapered bit and Voila u have a gouge Works great for all my carvings ,dont forget add a handle at one end!! Jocko
