Well first let me thank all of you guys for all of the info you have posted here, all I have to do now is take the time to read before I ask or post questions lol. Since I have started a few weeks ago I have managed to 1. Break one saw blade, 2. Break one roughing knife tip. ( using it as a pry bar) 3. Scrap 18 dollars in Basswood, 4. Cut my index finger with a gouge 3 times my thumb more times than I can count ( all while wearing a glove but it has made my pucker string a little tighter) and still look forward to learning this art, I havent had this much fun since the last barn raising and corn shucking I went to.
