Default Group project ELMO arrives

Thanks to Rick and to all in the beginner group project #1 (Elmo); Elmo has arrived safe and sound. He now resides on a shelf in my living room for all to see. I will have to add one additional feature to the carving. A small stout chain to fasten him to the wall. This became necessary when the next door neighbors (age 3 and 5) stopped in for a visit and spied Elmo. How they got up on the shelf I don't know, but they were determined to take Elmo home. Thanks again folks. Tom H

Glad to hear Elmo arrived safe and sound.

At least if Elmo disappears, you'll know where to start looking.

Tom,

Again Congrat's

If their is cheeto stains showing up in the future, im sorry, but Its becuse my nearly 2 yr old grandson did the same while elmo was here getting the eye-job.
i was the first carver, and that boy identified even the unfinished blank. he aint 30 inches tall but he's related to monkeys we think. he retrieved the carving from off my desktop while i refilled his sippy cup ...... one of the same is planned in a future project just for him....

Thomp, That boy planned that for sure. While Gramps refills my sippy cup, I'll just grab that carving. Smart boy.

yep, he is a little short on speeking.

but it dosent stop him from getting what he needs, he just regressed laungage, to point and grunt like a caveman,

Although he can parrot anything he hears, and knows when to use it... as you know this works especally best when the kid spouts off a line of cusses heard as the preacher is finishing grace.. or he uses a word and keeps everybody in suspence until you figure what hes talking about...

but he is into his terrible 2's now, and spends most his day in one kickie fit or another...
