Default Gone Home

This post is more about a thank you to Lynn Doughty and his Out West Woodcarving site than anything else. If I succeeded at all with the base it’s all because of Lynn sharing his ideas, knowledge, talent and tutorials with us.

When I finished carving the cowboy boot to my surprise my wife took a shine to it and asked if I would put it on some kind of base and give it to her. Scratching my head it dawned on me to surf Lynn’s Out West Woodcarving site to see if something there would trip an idea. Jackpot! So here’s the result…………..

Thanks much Lynn. What a fun project.

Pat

Thanks for taking a look and your comments gents. I appreciate it.

Pat

P.S. Bill in regards to the rope, which was meant to represent a lariat or lasso, I'm afraid it's so short it may look more like a Piggin' string.
