Default Gnome!

Here is a gnome I made today. 1x1x3 block of wood. This is my first carving that was worth showing. Any suggestions for a beginner for 'the next step'? Thanks! (sorry dime was in background not right next to him)

Very nice, Always remember keep your first, I have a 3 legged Dog that my Wife rescued from the trash, and now I can say I am glad she did.

A good start. I would suggest work on taking a little more off the corners to make him more round, will look more like a person that way. Practice is the key.

Problem with gnomes is you can't carve just one. That makes this one a good start. Nice Job, Brewster.
