Hello
since you are talking about glueing I have several carvings I would like to glue to a rock . has this been done?? There are not going to be all flat pieces , any ideas or help,
anything is very much appreciated
Alice
Alice, I'd try the two part epoxy for that purpose. I've glued several pieces to stone, but have also used a carbide drill bit to drill into the rock, and a corresponding hole into the carving. A little epoxy on both ends of a metal (Iuse brass) rod ans some on the surfaces between the base and carving, and they are PERMANENTLY stuck!
Thanks Al.
now since you tell me how to do it , I remembered you telling me this before, but I forgot > but since I move into the house now and have a lot to glue I shall try it.
Thanks again
Alice
WOOD CARVING ILLUSTRATED , Holiday 2004 Issue mentions site WWW.thistothat.com. You key in that you want to glue 'this' to 'that' and it tells you what glue to use!
