Great idea to use the soap, Bob. Your grandaughter is gorgeous and obviously enjoys what she's doing. Thanks for showing us the photos.

Way to go Bob, and it looks like she's really into it. My eight yeat old grand daughter is too damn busy with her lap top, you heard it right, "her lap top" dad says she needs it for school. Wow, world sure is changing.

Photography is one of my hobbies and you have captured magic! Well done!

She will cherish these pictures with all her heart! My grandfather gave me my first pocketknife when I was 8 years old and that memory is one of my fondest ever! I worshiped the ground he walked on. A farmer that worked himself to death. He was 56 when he had a heart attack and died I was with him, we were hunting. I was ten, good thing for the gifts he gave me. Way to go grandpa!

I love the shot of her right in the middle of your shop and sitting right there on "Gramps" chair... that is special. It's amazing just how much more precious that a child becomes as we get older in the years. They become more like the angels they are. Thanks for sharing this special moment!

Bob, that's really awesome! I love the creative thinking you used to carve a custom knife just for her. I hope she gets lots of use out of it. Can we use this story in the letters to the editor? (or did Bob already ask you that? )
