| | Re: First carving - Santa Hi Grimnir,
That's a wonderful first Santa. It's making me think I need to go get some tutorials. I tried a Santa and gave up. Couldn't figure out where I was going with it.
Sorry about your partner's eye sight problems, but tell her everyone has talent, they just don't all show it off. That's a great soap carving, with a pencil? Great! |

| | Re: First carving - Santa I think that is a very well done branch carving.. Soap carving is fun.. I tried it many years ago when a little girl.. ( Way back in the dark ages) Smells good too.. I was always afraid of knives also but one day . I picked up one of my husbands and the fear was gone! So I have been with the knives and gouges sense. More gouges than knives... Charlotte |
