Default First carving ever.

Hey everyone. I am just about done my first carving ever. I could not wait so I am posting the photos right away. Thanks to everyone that gave me the positve feedback, It is good to know that their is a place to go when you need help or to just share idea's.

Well I think you have done a real fine job for your first relief carving.
The direction of the background wood grain works well to give a sense of motion.
