Question Finishing

BabyHi ! Not sure how or if this finish is Ok
Would appreciate any advise if anyone has some. These are done out of Diamond Willow so the colors are natural.

Hi vonwhatever, this cane is diamond willow,I used linseed oil and then a satin lacquer(Deft),I let this dry about 24 hours and then applied a dark satin wax and buffed, I consider this a natural finish, I beleive it enhances the natural color of the wood .
