Bill, We all have to start somewhere. Your dolphin has shape, it resembles the dolphin that you were modelling from, with an added grace of line, flowing sense of motion. For your first, finished, carving you have done well. Every carving will teach you something, so be sure to pay attention. Most important, have fun with it.
