Lightbulb feather sticks

Hello ,
first thread I've begun.
I have a little idea feather sticks adapted as hair.
Hopefully it is of interest and someone out there will like to try it.

There is at least one problem with the idea. Most of us want to put hair on the tops of heads. With carvings, the top of the head is cross-grain and thus those curlies you mention don't get created when you cut across it.

Interesting concept Kevin, but I'm with Larry on the grain issue.
