Hi Dennis, I guess I was too late. That was probably a good deal. New palm carving tools are going to be at least $10 each, and the larger ones can be over $20. Ten years ago, you could buy a lot of good palm tools for $6 each. Oh well, the good old days. You'll hear both sides of the "buy a set vs, individual tools" on this board. I lean to buying sets to get started since the price/tool is much lower and most sets include tools you will use. If you end up with a couple out of 12 that you don't use much, think of them as free. You can also go to a carving show and swap them for something you need. Rick Ferris, a poster on this board, will give you good advice on starter tools and make you the best deal anywhere. Good luck.

the tools are still listed, 31 at 10.00 each so far is a pretty good deal...seems like it would be a good starter set...any idea what the price of these would be...can't tell by the pictures, seems they sell for about 25.00 a set of 6, figure that is 6 sets of tools....just trying to figure out if this would be a good $$$ deal....Dennis

It's only a deal if you need them. I can't feature needing 31 tools for the types of carving your doing though. All that said, you can check prices on the Ramelson's here
