Default Dremel Advantage Tool

I was wondering if anyone is using the Dremel Advantage tool to rough-in backgrounds for relief carvings? The tool comes with a router attachment and I was thinking that it might be easier to use than a standard router. Any thoughts?

I have the tool and the router base. I've used it a little for roughing in reliefs. It works well and saves a lot of hand work. I need to find a better way to lock the depth stop, for plunge routing, since it can be forced past the stop with a little extra effort. It's more powerful than I expected; a good tool overall.

mine always seem to get pretty hot when left on for a while...a rotozip tool works good.

I have the Sears All-in-One Cutting tool which is made by Dremel but goes on sale more often. It's great for relief carving and is a great trim router.

M. D. I know exactly what you are talking about. It's narrower than my plunge router and I expect that big kick.
