I want to see where everyone buys their carving equipment. I have seen a lot of beginners lately asking where to get carving equipment and this will answer those questions. Also, only vote for the ones you buy from a majority of the time.

The poll results so far are bizarre. There have been 4 votes all for 4 of the choices and they each have 50% of the vote. That comes to 200%. I voted other since I haven't bought anything from the 4 sources listed. I've bought from Smoky Mountain Woodcarver Supply and The Woodcraft Shop (not Woodcraft)... oh, Treeline and Lee Furgeson, too.

I set it so you can vote for more than one. That is why I said to vote for only the ones you buy from a majority of the time.

I buy tools from Gil Drake. He is a vendor at multiple shows along the west coast, and does the Phoenix/Mesa show also. He is also a very good caricature carver, and does carving classes when he has some time to spare. Tom |
