Default chip carving

is there anyone that is close to lexington, ky that does chip carving. i would like to see somebody do the carving and help a little for me to understand the nature of the beast. i am just getting started. thank you

Found this club in the Club search function in the left hand frame. You might call them and see if they have anyone who does chip carving. Otherwise I think Wayne Barton has a demo dvd...? Not sure I seem to remember something like that being advertised.

wayne Barton has some excellent books...if you read them and do exactly as he says even though it might seem awkward at first..you will be chipcarving before you know it.

Wayne Barton is the B E S T!!! Took a class of his in '02 & then again in '03 near me in Vermont...he offers classes all over the country....check his website for dates...am certain you can google it. Happy Chipping!!!

I'm an apprentice at this game, but there is a lot of information around. Unfortunately Wayne does n't come over here to give classes. Germany and Austria are the nearest centres of chip carving for me.
However in the mean time I'll keep on chippin.

For anyone who wants to get started in chip carving I found a website that is hands down the best for someone new. My Chip Carving They have free video lessons and chip carving supplies. Good Luck!
