Default Carving snake walking stick

I haven't been able to find good pictures of snake markings for a walking stick & are there any helpful tools for this project? Haven't been carving that long, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I really don't care what kind of snake. Copperhead, rattler? I have a stick with a curved top that I think would make a good snake. Just trying to find a good illustration. Thanks for your response.
