Bab, I agree with Steve...unfortunately you can't get the really fat ones that used to be available. I use Husky pencils which are a little fatter than a standard pencil. You can get a little detail in them, but not much (at least I can't). I wind up woodburning the beards but like Steve said, It's not the same. Go on Amazon.com and search "Husky pencils." They come in 12 packs.
