Question carving classes western WI

Hoping there are some folks from the St Croix and Polk County area of Western WI who could tell me if there are any carving classes and clubs in this area. The closest I have found so far are in Minneapolis and Anoka, MN!
Sad

Thanks!!

I should also say eastern MN, like Washington and Ramsey Counties!
Thanks again!

Hi Anita,

I just got a flyer from Woodcraft in Bloomington, Mn a few days ago and I know they had a carving class or two on the flyer. You might want to check with them. That shouldn't be too far away from you.

Thanks, Gene. I looked them up and see they have beginning and intermediate wood carving classes coming up in November. It's about a 45 minute drive, but I have come to get used to everything being at least 20 minutes from here. Sad Can 'ya tell I'm a former Twin Citian?

Just curious, do you buy wood carving supplies from them? If so, how are their prices?

Anita
I have bought some stuff from them, and recently they have really come down on their prices for Pfeil tools. They might be a little higher than some other sources but they are sure handy when you need someone close. Although they are 150 miles from me. But I usually stop there when I am down that way
