Now that my 60 yr old knees are gone to hell........I just started using a walking stick handed down from my father inlaw. Does anyone have a source for wood, or do I need to go stomping thru the woods to find my own? I've got the wood working tools but don't have the energy to go wood hunting. If there are commercial sources would someone please let me know. |

All are good suggestions. In the town nearest me, is the UNION FORK and HOE handle plant. They sell Ash culls, both with and without finish for 25 cents each. These are anywhere from 4 ft to 5 ft long, and can be spoke shaved down to diameter size. The plant is in Delaware Ohio. Tom H
