| | Re: Busy Bee sale on Carvers Vise If anyone was really in need of one I could check and see how many I could get and ship them to you. I have no idea how much postage would be to the US but if you want I could make some inquiries for you guys. Now I would do this just as a favor with no profit for me. Just remember that anything you purchase in Canada has GST (Government Sales Tax) 8% and PST (Provincial Sales Tax) 6% on top of the price so you are probably looking at about another $3.50 plus shipping. I guess still half of the price you could buy them for in the US. Let me know soon though as I think the sale ends 15 March 08.

| | Re: Busy Bee sale on Carvers Vise I picked this device up at the annual Moncton Wood Carving Show this year for $26.00, couldn't pass up on the deal. The only complaint I have is that the stem will turn when using a mallet no matter how hard you tighten the handle. The tightener for the base of the vise works well, and I find it convenient to be able to remove the vise when not in use. For $26.00, its a good bargain. If it only tilted to the side, it would have everything I would want in a vise.
