Default Beginners Carving Websites....

Hi all. I am looking for some help. Being a beginner carver myself I am always looking for more carving info, patterns, instruction etc. I am in the process of making a beginners carving info page and looking for links to sites with information for beginners. Please post links that you may know about if you would be so kind.

I have:
Gene's Messer's YouTube Videos
Lynn's Outwest Carving Blog
WCI Tutorial Page
Rick Ferry's Beginner Page
Tom Hinde's Page

Thanks!

Corey

I think there is some good information here;

FREE CARVING PATTERNS

The Old Texas Woodcarvers Shop provides wood carving tools, wood carving books & roughouts.

Corey, Here's a good site for some good lessons/tutorials. Plus Will Hayden is one heck of a nice fellow.

Hello Iowa, the Little Shavers web site has quite a bit of information on it for beginners such as safety tips, proper use of tools and some history on some styles of carving ... Take Cae and God Bless ... ~~KOP~~

Yup, that's the Rick Ferry's Beginner page that I mentioned. It's a good one. Thanks!
