Default Beginners Books and/or Videos - Recommendations, anyone?

I am an absolute newbie to carving. I would like to start with a small relief landscape. Does anyone have any ideas as to what books and/or videos are available, and which would be the most useful to me?
Ken

Try this book, Ken. I have it and it has been a great help. It is published by Fox and writtn by L.S. Irish (Susan on this site). http://www.carvingpatterns.com/landbook.htm

Lots of other books and tips, there, too.

Or check with www.littleshavers.com for more info and help withmost any carving related question.

AlArchie;

Many thanks. I just had a look at some of the book's instructions on the Irish site.
Looks like it is just what I need, and at a reasonable price, too.

Slainte mhath,
Ken
