Beginner carving exchange

If you would like 9 other carvings to look at and compare, go to the general carving section and sign up to carve 9 of your favorite things to carve and exchange them with 9 other carvers of varying skills.

I have participated in two and I have to say they are fun and a great way to learn too. Right now in the holiday exchange we are exchanging ornaments and I have gotten some really cool ones.

Don't worry about being new or a beginner. By the time you carve 9 of the same carvings, you will be a better carver!

So get on over to the general section and sign up.

shade_skyhi: go to the Favorite Carving Exchange thread and read it. Signup is still open. If you're interested, post a reply to that thread, and also send your contact info (name, address, email address) to Wanda (wildhare).

Thanks Jim for stepping in and answering the question.

We only have two spots still open in the spring "!Favorite Carving Exchange!" found in the General Carving section.

Rules?
1. Send me you mailing address, email address (so I can send you the list of names.)
2. Decide what your favorite thing to carve is or what you want to carve.
Remember that it needs to fit in the padded envelope, I think the size is 6" by 8" envelopes.
3. Carve 10 pieces, and no it doesn't have to be the same thing.
4. Paint, stain or seal it
5. mail them out the first week in March so they arrive no later than March 17

6. WATCH YOUR MAILBOX FOR ALL THE NEAT CARVINGS TO ARRIVE!
