Goes to show you how different apporaches different carvers take to get to the end results of a wood spirit. Thanks for the added links. Equally good links.
Kind of like tools, Ask 7 carvers which tools they perfer and you will get 20 answers.

Dr. Bob Rotella says 'Golf is Not a Game of Perfect.' Well, neither is carving hair, mustaches and beards on wood spirits. It's one place where a little sloppiness goes a long ways.

It doesn't look like that link is working any more Kenny - I just tried it and it just takes you to the oldjoe site, not to anything specific on wood spirits. Doing a search didn't work either.
