Default Beast from the (Middle) East

Here's a look at a piece I did out here in Iraq. It started out as a random piece of scrap 2X4 and was done with my pocket knife since my tools are at home. Let me know what you think.

looks like a good start....there are several tutorials on doing faces for anything from caricatures to walking sticks to wood spirits....I suggest you do a google and find a couple and see how they proceed from where you are.....good start, now you need to see the steps to finish......way to go

Lots of good work comes from desperation and limited tools.
