hi larry, click "usercp" (that is i the green panel on top) then on the left you see a control panel and there you click "edit avatar", a new window appears that lets you choose your avatar from predefined, or you can choose to upload your own picture. read the size restriction is 80x80 pixels...

dave, you need scale your picture so that both sides are less or equal to 80 pixel, and (!) additionally when you save the avatar it needs be less than 19.5kb. you can do this in every image editing program....if it does not let you upload your picture, i guess its still too big

Thank you Doris. I am lost / intimidated when it comes to computers. When I sold things on Ebay my 16 year old son had to walk me thru the process.

Dave,

I always recommend a freeware program called Irfanview. It will let you resize your picture by the number of pixels and save it as a .jpg file, which should be well under the 19.5k size requirement. It can be found here:

Download IrfanView - Freeware Software - Tucows

If you download the program and need help, just post a new topic and I'll see if I can talk you through it.
