Default Adhesives

What type of wood adhesives, that are knife friendly, should be used for attaching wood that will be worked in carving???

I used Elmers carpenters glue for years and currently trying out titebond...both are good......at times I will use ca and have also used polyurathane...mostly for cane handles tho for the gorilla glue.

The Titebond is suppose to be a better glue than Elmers.... Dave, but I haven't been able to discern much difference. Will they dull a cutting edge if you cut through them?? I tried the Gorilla glue, but still like a 2 part epoxy for heavy duty adhesion.....

I have a several-ounce of Elmer's carpenter's glue, and until it's empty, I'm not likely to switch to something else, particularly when the Elmer's works.
