2nd meeting at the woodcarving club!!

I had the best time today at the wood carvers meeting. i met a lot of carvers and most of them gave me some tools to keep, that was so nice of them. A couple of them gave me basswood and bark wood . and A guy named Walter copied my pattern of a fish and cut it out on the band saw for me and i had fun talking to some of them and meeting them and they taught me alot in one day. They are all great carvers, They are so nice and helpful to me. I can't Wait till the next meeting next thurs. I worked alot on that fish today, hopefully i will finish it soon,

Thank you for posting your experience at your new club. I enjoyed it for two reasons first I like to hear how the other carvers are so noble makes me proud second I am on my own not around other carvers this forum is my club.

Hi Newbie,

You're so lucky to be in a club, I'm like
Don and had to learn on my own. It would have been nice to have help.

Keep it up and post pictures if you can.
