Jim keep it up ur diff on the right track.. i hade the same issues on paint being bright i think most will agree thinned down is the way to go not everyone can blend the colors so we wash them down as to show the wood grain... KEEP THEM COMMING

Keep carving. Thin your paints more until you get the feel and learn how to build up color. Your doing good.

Thanks guys, I've been sick for 2 days and have'nt been on the forum at all. Your encourgagement means a lot. I can't wait to start the next project, how much do you thin the paints, 50 0/0??. JIM
