I have a 12" Craftsman model and it takes 80" blades. I believe that is standard for all models of 12" Craftsman. Soggy |

Doug: Have you tried looking online for the blade length? Take the model number and go to the Craftsman parts site and you should have no problem determining the exact length that you need for your saw... Once you find the length, you can purchase whatever brand you might wish to purchase...I hear 'Timberwolf blades' are the best and plan to purchase this brand if/when my current blade breaks or becomes dull. Good luck! Kenn

I have a Craftsman Model 113.243311 (saw with legs). The Model 113.243300 is the saw only. The manual says that it will support blade widths from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch. The blade length I use is 80 inches. I, too, was surprised that the length wasn't in the manual.

Kenn, As a point of interest, according to the Lee Valley Catalogue Timber Wolf is now called Viking. Just bought one.

The last time I was down to the city I went into Lee Valley and asked for a couple of 80" blades. When the clerk brought them out from the stockroom I noticed that they were "Viking" . I didn't say anything but when I got home and started using one, I was very pleased with it. I thought to myself ......."I wonder if all those guys that bragg up those Timber Wolf blades have ever tried these?" ...........Soggy |
