| | The Yearly Countdown Every Year for the past 9 years I have bartered with the lumber yard. I trade hom 10 Santas and he doubles the value of them and pays me in wood. For some reason I always wait until the last minute to get them done. These Have to be in Pa. by Wednesday morning. I would still be carving tonight but my hands hurt and the beard lines seem to blending together. I learned a while back ago to stop when I get this tired or I wind up getting hurt. I will get back to them tommorow and hope to finish them so Anna has time to paint them. Looks I will be priming and base coating and she will be doing the detail. Its going to be close but I think we will make it.

Sorry, I must be watching too much late nite TV. It looks like you have the process down to a science, great carving Goodie. I could never handle something like that, I get confused enough with one at a time.
Hope you meet your deadline okay. Don't forget to set aside enough time to "Be" Santa too!!!

| | Re: The Yearly Countdown Outstanding job Harold and I know Anna will have an outstanding paint job on each one. I got an order for 25 more tree ornaments in various configurations but told the lady, Not this year. Had some traveling to do and other things as well. Nothing like asking a week before Christmas and wanted them done last week. Probable lose her but oh well.
I like you Santas, Thanks for sharing! |

| | Re: The Yearly Countdown Wonderful, wonderful work santa will be so proud of you and Anna. Your trade for wood is a terrific exchange, I do think though the lumber yard is getting the best deal. YOUR WORK!
