| | | Western Santa Claus Charlie Wendt stopped by on his way to his Granddaughters wedding...he gave me a Western Santa cutout and I am having a hard time figuring what the finish carving is supposed to look like? Charlie is still on the road so can't ask him..anyone seen one of these? |

| | Re: Western Santa Claus Hi Ho,
Is he the Santa that has a cowboy hat and suspenders with thumbs hooked in them--and cowboy boots? About 8-10 inches tall? If so, I think I still have the pattern and perhaps even the how to that was in the BH&G Wood Magazine and book about 8-9 years ago.
If it sounds like the same design, let me know and I'll photocopy it this week and can mail it to you.

I can't believe you don't know what a Texas Santa looks like. He has a ten gallon elf hat..black beard and handlebar mustache...and spurrs that gingle jangle gingle. He drives a chevy truck with a gun rack in the rear window to hang his toys on and it is pulled by eight longhorns. When he leaves you can hear him say 'Merry Christmas ya'll, and to all a good shut eye.
