For some of us, Father Christmas is what we do, pretty much the only thing I do anyhow..... Unless I get a request for something else, Santa it is.

Well I don't get out much,,,really .And this message board thing, as well as my website has only existed for me for about a month now.Actuall since my first post. That's my experiece of the "outside" world.I never knew there was such a demand for Santas! If they keep you carving and busy all year ,nothing wrong with that! I'm 'gonna have to look into this market,,,,HMMMM.

Who said there was a "market? for them, we just carve them and stack them for firewood for our kids when we are gone ha ha

While I have fallen into the idea of carving Santas heads, I really must attempt to expand beyond the Santa head. I think I'll try to carve some heads that have ears and no beards..that along with animals for Noahs Arks....Tom H

I want to do more carving in the round so I need to start soon for Christmas 2007. The ornament exchange was great fun and I loved all the ornaments from everyone.
So, I agree in the world of carving Christmas ornaments it's a year round hobby.

I'm taking alittle break from Santa to work on Shawn Cipa's Nativity. Also, my dad lent me his woodburning tool so I'm experimenting with that. Not so easy!

Little Lepres all around me. It is Tom H's fault, I tell ya! Then the little bride wants another double heart with I LOVE YOU on it for Valentine's Day.

Sure is a demanding woman.
