Just because it isn't Christmas, doesn't mean you can't carve Santas or snowmen or Christmas Ornaments or ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Still working on a few carvings from last years but haven't carved since last year either.

I agree Kenny. Ive still got some snowmen in mind. and I am trying to work up a mrs. snowman as well as a mrs. clause. Im terrible at womens faces. The snowwoman should be easy but Mrs Clause wont be. at least for me. When I carve angels I leave their face blank. But when I have tried carving a womans face it comes out looking like a russian woman named helga or a man in drag,
It would be fun though if we could get some kind of thread like Terry did with his cardinal.

I will be doing Santas all year....would like to work on some Caricatures too, and hope to take a few classes. That should keep me busy until about August when it is time to start putting in some overtime on those santas and snowmen once again. Nothing like working on a Santa in the mid July heat!

I've seen a bunch of different size basswood eggs in hobby shops,It's not my usual type of venue, but somebody has got to have carved some of these for Easter,I'm busy all the time and have yet to carve a santa,,I must be doing something wrong.

Yup..carve Santas all year long. LOL

I've just got done with a few leprechauns and need to get a few more ready before March.

Then theres bunnies and chicks for easter baskets.

Pins for all sorts of reasons are nice to do for a quick project all year long.
