I used to grind them up and put them in flower beds. Smells like Christmas all year. If you want to carve them I think you can, just need to let them sit and dry out for a while. They do have a lot of ooey, gooey, stuff in them.

Hi Ken,enjoyed the video.Think it's a great thing to do if you are willing to deal with the obstacles mentioned.
In the end I guess it's a judgement thing.Might be able to cut off what you want and create some habitat too.

Hello Ken, salutations all the way from NY... I saw this post, and i was just about to say.... You read my mind... My sister and her friend in PA, and here in NY...... It would be a good way to recycle, and put money in the pocket at no cost... Firs, Pines and just conifers in general make great project wood... Great idea Ken!
