Default what type christmas ornaments do you carve?

I have just received the book Making Collectible Santas and Christmas Ornaments in Wood by Jim and Margie Maxwell. I do like the book and will carve some of the projects but some do not seem like christmas ornaments such as a Gene Autry pistol, a space robot, a rocket plane, an airplane,a tractor (looks like a challenge to carve) while I will do some just not for ornaments my wife said they are all good and I'm too old fashion.so out of curiousity what type ornaments do you carvers do?

santa, snowmen, angels, pets in stockings, colt with stocking cap, stocking, egghead santa, mice in stocking caps, xmas trees, flying goose with stocking cap--i think u put a stocking cap on anything it becomes a xmas ornament-- but i have seen some unusual commercially made figures as ornaments--
