Default Two more Santas Done

I carve a new Santa every year and I posted one about a month ago that was the concept santa for this year. Well I made some changes in him. Hes now a little fuller, a little taller. And just rounded things up a little different. I asked my wife to see if she could paint the bag like a quilt. I showed her Teri Embrys santas on her site. Well she came down from her paint room last nite and asked me Hows This Look. I wasn't expecting this much detail. I think this customer is going to be surprized. I also had a request to do one of my Slim Santas as a patriotic Santa. I decide to carve 13 stripes in the skirt and have Anna paint the 50 stars on the coat.

Well all , I have to tell you , I got to see these up close and personal today, and these pictures don't even come close to how good they really are! I had time for a quick lesson, a short vist, a chance to examine some mirco tools, time to cut up a piece of butternut, which we actually put an 8 ft piece into the car.

oH Goody I was right , first words were what the H*ll is that doing in there! HEHE

But the best part was just to spend a few mins with friends. !
