| | Turkey-Day Holiday Carvings I've posted 3 pictures of my Pilgrim carvings in the members photo gallery.
The patterns are by Harley Refsal but I didn't follow his "flat-plane" style of
carving. I hope my URL link works below. ![004[1]1](http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/forum/images/smilies/004[1]1.gif) Thanksgiving. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.co...51&ppuser=3720 |

| | Re: Turkey-Day Holiday Carvings J.C.,
Nice carvings even without the flat planes.
Here is the pattern for the Thanksgiving carving I am working on.
She is a little Dutch girl holding a small hatchet behind her back; while the turkey is laying his head on her dress and they are looking at each other.

| | Re: Turkey-Day Holiday Carvings Nice carvings! Unfortunately I don't know what flat plane carving is - could someone explain that one to me please?
Rick, I love your Dutch girl! When she's done could you post the completed piece for us to see? |

Not Flat Plane on Left; Flat plane on Right.
