Default From a tree!

When I am doing carving demonstrations I always get the question "Is that really wood" Part of me wants to say "Nope its a piece of an Alien Metorite" "Heres your sign"! But Im Polite and show them one of these. When we cut the Palownia last year I saved a few peices of from the top of tree and made a few of these.

Goody is that a real log . Great idea, but there's probably a few folks that will have a hard time believing its real wood. But to me it is more of compliment to your work.

The santa on the corner is really nice but what an incredibly realistic job you did on the bark. Looks like it grew there.
