Default Summer time Santa

Not trying to rush the season but had a little time on my hands so I thought I'd try a character out of one of Mike Shipleys books. He was real fun to do and he found a home before he was even completed......................... Mrs. Soggy said ....... "Oh I like him!";....... so I guess you all know where he's going.
He's 4-1/2" tall carved from basswood, painted with acrylics, and finished with a mix of BLO and raw umber;

Soggy,
Now, that's a cute bear! You're such an over-achiever by getting this early of a start on Christmas carvings.

He's delightful! I think he might make a wonderful tree ornament.
