Post sugar pine or basswood turnings

I am looking for a source of woodturnings (basswood or sugarpine) as recommended in Tina Toney's "Santas and Snowmen Carving for Christmas". The supplier she recommends Plum Fun Wood Products is no longer in business. Thanks for any suggestions

I'm not sure what that is, but here's 2 links to "solid hardwood" puffed hearts. Not sure if they're suitable for carving.
